The work references the character’s celebrated transformation from a shy chauffeur’s daughter into a poised and sophisticated young woman following her time in Paris.

Linton Meagher brings Sabrina’s transformation into dialogue with contemporary ideas of beauty, reinvention and the desire to resist ageing. While the character’s metamorphosis is expressed through confidence, experience and personal style, her image is reconstructed here through the clinical materials of cosmetic intervention - creating a deliberate tension between inner transformation and externally manufactured perfection.
