Working from his Woollahra atelier, Matthew Ely creates fine jewellery around the character of individually selected gemstones. Colour, proportion and precise handcraft guide a practice that combines classical references with inventive settings and transformable designs.
The Three Over Six presentation brings together rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces in gold and platinum, including pieces designed to be worn in more than one way. The selection places particular emphasis on coloured stones and the details of their construction.
