The story
At Three Over Six in Double Bay, The Gilded Glass brought guests together around Champagne Lallier, The Glen Grant and Grand Marnier. Guided tastings unfolded over dinner, with time to consider the places, processes and people behind each house.
Lallier introduced cuvées from Aÿ; The Glen Grant shared aged Speyside single malts; Grand Marnier explored the meeting of cognac and bitter orange. Origin and maturation gave each tasting its own story.
Brass, crystal and amber light warmed the setting. The glass offered a first impression; conversation with the people behind it brought the places and years into view.
