Jane Jenevieve

Sydney-based visual artist and composer Jane Jenevieve works from Marrickville, drawing on the art, music and urban culture of the inner city where she grew up. Her textured paintings bring colour, rhythm and layered forms into an intuitive exchange between structure and gesture. She has exhibited through galleries, art fairs and artist-led spaces, including Gallery Brave, Articulate and The Other Art Fair.

In Clink, she explores balance and deconstruction through opposing forms, while Self-Excited Circuit considers how observation, time and perception shape our experience of an image. Across her practice, each painting leaves room for the viewer’s own associations and discoveries. Three Over Six presents works from both series, alongside selected paintings from Jane’s wider practice.
