Linton Meagher

Sydney-based artist Linton Meagher works across painting and semi-sculptural assemblage, transforming unconventional and culturally charged materials into visually seductive compositions. Trained at the Julian Ashton Art School and the University of Sydney, his practice explores beauty, desire, mortality and the rituals that shape contemporary life.

Working with resin, Perspex, pharmaceutical vials and other found objects, Meagher creates works that reveal new layers of meaning as the viewer moves between distance and detail. His work has been exhibited throughout Australia and internationally, including in London, Hong Kong and Singapore, and is held in numerous private and corporate collections.
