ABOUT THE ARTIST

Belgian-born contemporary artist, Olivier Vrancken, known for his minimalist compositions and meditative use of form, texture, and colour. Initially trained in graphic design and illustration, Vrancken transitioned into fine art to pursue a more intuitive and personal visual language. His work blends geometric abstraction with organic imperfection, often exploring themes of spatial harmony, memory, and natural erosion.

Working primarily with acrylic on linen or canvas, Vrancken builds his compositions through layered brushwork and carefully considered colour fields. Subtle irregularities—weathered textures, fractured lines, and tonal shifts—imbue each piece with a quiet dynamism and depth.
