The King Penthouse
A wardrobe considered as part of the home.
The story
At the King Penthouse on Sydney’s Bathurst Street, the wardrobe became part of the interior. Three Over Six worked with Freeman Gallery to select fashion and personal objects for the residential presentation.
An Hermès petit h minaudière, a special-order Kelly and a Chanel Casino Dice minaudière brought distinct expressions of craftsmanship to the wardrobe. Pieces by Gucci, Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen completed the selection.
Presented among the art and furniture, the wardrobe offered a more personal view of the home: objects chosen to be worn, carried and kept close.
