Sydney-based designer creates furniture and objects that bring together sculptural form, functional purpose and a deep sensitivity to material. Initially trained in interior design, Vargas developed an early understanding of how objects shape the way we experience space. His practice now moves across furniture and object design, drawing from organic forms, natural materials and the quiet elegance of classical proportion.

Guided by timelessness, craft and environmental respect, Vargas creates objects designed to endure both physically and emotionally. His use of recycled timber and marble off-cuts reflects a thoughtful approach to making, where material is honoured rather than forced. Each piece is designed to bring calm, curiosity and presence to an interior, quietly transforming the atmosphere of a room through tactile detail and sculptural restraint.
