Shirin Davati Kazemina

Contemporary painter Shirin Davati Kazemnia, born in 1967, creates works that explore the emotional and psychological dimensions of the human figure. Trained at Art University and mentored by painter Nami Peter, Kazemnia later relocated to a coastal town, where nature, solitude and quiet observation continue to shape her practice. Her work is deeply concerned with interior life, using the figure as a vessel for memory, feeling and symbolic meaning.

Kazemnia’s work is contemplative and quietly charged, balancing figuration with symbolism. Each painting invites the viewer into a private psychological space, where gesture, expression and object become part of a larger emotional language. Her practice reflects an interest in what lies beneath the visible: memory, resilience, longing and the subtle force of the unseen.
