ABOUT THE ARTIST

Vince Vozzo, born in Sydney in 1954, embarked on his artistic journey by studying art at Liverpool TAFE, East Sydney College, and Alexander Mackie College of Advanced Education. Over the course of three decades, Vozzo has left an indelible mark on the art world, showcasing his talents in 41 solo exhibitions and creating thousands of artworks across various mediums. His contributions have been recognized in 36 prize exhibitions, with an impressive eight selections in the esteemed Wynne Prize, setting a record for sculptors in that competition. Vozzo's artistic legacy extends to major collections worldwide, including the ResMed Collection in Sydney and San Diego, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and the Joseph Brown Collection in Melbourne.
