At Three Over Six, our process is defined by discretion, expertise, and curatorial care. From the initial submission to final placement, each item is evaluated for its historical, cultural, and material significance. Accepted pieces undergo authentication and professional documentation before being introduced privately to our global network of collectors, institutions, and cultural clients. For larger collections, we offer dedicated curation services to preserve narrative and maximise value. Every step is managed with transparency and integrity, ensuring that each work is placed with purpose — and protected for the future.

1. Submission & Initial Review

To begin, submit your item using our confidential online form. Please include clear photographs, available provenance documentation, and any relevant background information.

Every submission is personally reviewed and assessed based on historical importance, condition, and alignment with the curatorial standards of our Private Suite & Vault. All reviews are conducted in strict confidence.

2. Authentication & Documentation

If accepted, your item enters a professional documentation process. This includes:

  • Authentication by leading specialists in fashion, jewellery, and design

  • Valuation supported by market insight and historical relevance

  • Full provenance review and verification

  • Studio-quality photography and condition reporting

  • This ensures that each piece is presented to potential buyers with clarity, credibility, and curatorial integrity.

3. Collection Curation (for Multi-Piece Submissions)

For clients submitting larger collections or estate holdings, we offer a dedicated curation service.

This includes on-site or virtual assessments, catalogue development, and strategic recommendations on which pieces are best suited for Private Sale. Our aim is to preserve the narrative of the collection while maximising value and relevance through selective, intelligent placement.

4. Private Placement

Once prepared, your item is introduced to a select network of private collectors, institutional buyers, and cultural clients. These are not public listings. Every piece is offered by invitation only, ensuring a discreet and purposeful acquisition process.

Our placement philosophy is guided by long-term stewardship, not short-term visibility — ensuring each work finds the right next custodian.

5. Sale & Settlement

Upon successful placement, we manage all aspects of the transaction: negotiation, invoicing, insured logistics, and secure delivery.

Proceeds are transferred promptly, with complete transparency on fees and documentation. Our team remains available for post-sale support, ensuring your experience is seamless from start to finish.
