The Crash Vase by Oskar Zięta is a striking embodiment of form born through controlled imperfection. Sculpted from polished stainless steel using Zięta’s innovative FiDU technology, the vase is shaped by air pressure — a process that allows the metal to collapse and crease in ways both spontaneous and deliberate.
Each piece is a unique composition of smooth planes and sculptural folds, reflecting Zięta’s philosophy of “controlled loss of control.” The mirrored surface captures and distorts its surroundings, transforming light and shadow into part of the object’s evolving character.
